DETROIT, MI (June 8, 2022) — Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is excited to announce it has partnered with Ready to Work powered by CampusEd® to help fill critical, front line healthcare roles and to also provide no-cost job training to all learners interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Ready to Work launched in Detroit in partnership with Auburn University and will continue to roll out recruiting efforts in additional cities around the country with local or national colleges and universities to anchor each initiative.

After completing the zero-cost sign up, Ready to Work is designed to be completed in three easy steps: online course work, hands-on lab sessions and preparation to complete a national certification test. Once these three steps are completed, candidates will be connected with IHA for interviews and job placement.

“Ready To Work is a great partner to help us attract and recruit new talent who are excited about a career in healthcare,” said Annie Steiner, Trinity Health IHA Medical Group talent acquisition manager. “Now more than ever, we are looking for trained, qualified individuals who are quite literally Ready to Work!”

“It’s no secret that healthcare organizations need assistance to recruit, hire and retain qualified healthcare workers,” said Amy Roberts, from CampusEd®. “Ready to Work helps meet learners where they are and offers them an entry point into a healthcare career that might not have been available to them otherwise.”

The healthcare job training for positions like clinical medical assistants, pharmacy technicians will completely prepare learners for what they need to know in order to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes. Typically, courses like these can cost thousands of dollars - an expense the student bears directly. With Ready to Work, all of the training and placement services are provided at no cost to the student, allowing employers to participate more directly and broadening the pool of qualified candidates they can recruit.

Those in the Detroit area can currently enroll in the Health Systems Medical Assistant training here: https://readytowork.edu2.com/. CampusEd® plans to launch more locations and training opportunities this summer.
